Destinations Belize

Destinations Belize started out in 1998 as Kevin Modera Guide Services, a saltwater fly fishing guide service based in Placencia Village. We expanded into general Belize tourism as Destinations Belize after Hurricane Iris in 2001 destroyed about 80% of Placencia Village.

From the start, it's been a grand ride and all of you helped make it that way - clients, hotel staff, guides, drivers, restaurant staff, owners, managers – so many of you now cherished friends. And the wonderful people of Belize have been the most important of all - people who never tired of answering questions, making suggestions, helping with tours, taxis, history, geography, and most of all, always happy to share their beautiful Belize with both visitors and transplants like me.

My heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you. I will never forget you, and I hope you will never forget Belize.
