Our
Wet and Wlld Belize honeymoon starts with a 3-night plunge into
the wilds of the Belize jungle from a luxury thatched cottage at
the beautiful Chaa Creek Lodge and Spa, set on the banks of the
Macal River and named Belize's Hotel of the Year for 2011.
Enjoy a
couple's massage, a special private candlelight honeymoon dinner,
a romantic guided sunset canoe trip on the Macal River, jungle
horseback riding and hiking, birding, a guided interpretative tour
of Chaa Creek's Rainforest Medicinal Trail, a Creatures of the
Night jungle walk and other on-site activities at Chaa Creek, plus
your choice of a jungle, caving or Mayan ruins tour.
Then
on to Thatch Caye, a small private island off the southern
Belize coast, to dive into the beautiful coral reef waters of the
Southwater Marine Reserve, part of Belize's World Heritage Barrier
Reef system.
At Thatch Caye, you'll spend four nights in a
seafront casita, enjoy meals featuring freshly caught seafood,
explore the Belize Barrier Reef on your two guided snorkeling
tours, paddle the Caribbean in a kayak - and learn the joys of doing nothing at all from your own personal seafront hammock
overlooking gentle sea waves.
