Private charter sailing
cruises are available for two to 14 people, with a minimum of 3 - 6
nights.
All
private charters are crewed, live-aboard sailing cruises including all
meals, snacks, local rum drinks and beer, wine with dinners, guide services and use of all
recreational gear.
Extra activities such as
guided fly or light tackle fishing and scuba diving are available up
on request. Custom land and sea tours, including Mayan ruins,
butterfly farms, jungle hiking, caving, mountain biking and jungle
horseback riding can also be arranged.
Boats
include mono-hulls, catamarans and trimarans in a variety of sizes
from 36 to 65 feet in length with 2 to 6 cabins and include the
Talisman, the
Cattleya, the
Long Gone,
the
Legacy and the Aubisque.
Departures can be coordinated from Belize City, Dangriga, Placencia,
Ambergris Caye, Caye Caulker, or local cayes such as Southwater or
Tobacco Cayes..
Itineraries are varied and depend on the
interest of the guests, and weather, wind and tidal conditions during
the cruise. Charters operate throughout Belize territorial
waters including the outer atolls such as Lighthouse and Glover's Reef
Atolls, and also include the Honduras Bay Islands and the Rio Dulce in
Guatemala.
Both
itineraries are meals are based on the special interests, activity
levels and food and beverage preferences of guests. All crews
include licensed Belize captains and guides.
Nightly boat
rates including lodging, meals and all other amenities as described
above range from US$800 to US$3,000 per boat per night, plus cruise
taxes. (Ground and air transport, shore lodging and other extras
priced on an individual basis depending on group preferences.)
