Guaranteed reservations
require a deposit of 25% - 50% of the full cost of a trip (actual amount of deposit
depends on duration and other factors such as deposit policy of lodging facility -
email us for more information). We must receive payment not less
than 7 business days after we confirm your reservation |

Deposit payments may be
made by MasterCard, VISA, checks drawn on U.S. banks, money order or wire transfer (wire
transfer charges payable by the wiring party), payable to Destinations Belize.
|
|
Belize banks require a
signed authorization for credit card charges. Therefore, you will need to print out
our Credit Card
Authorization Form and fax it to us at our US fax
number, (603) 452-4797. Alternatively, we can fax or email a
form to you, and you can return the completed form to us by fax or email attachment.
|
|
|
|
Checks drawn on U.S.
banks should be mailed to Destinations Belize, 3505 Halliday Ave., St. Louis, MO
63118.

Except
for sailing charters, and as otherwise
specifically provided for specific tours and trips, deposits are:
|
|
100% refundable if written cancellation received
45 full days or more before scheduled beginning date of trip
(less a cancellation fee of US$25-250 USD, depending on the activity,
lodging, transportation involved) |
|
|
Non-refundable if cancellation received less than
45 full days before scheduled start of trip |
|
|
Deposits for sailing
charters are non-refundable unless we are able to re-book the
charter dates. |
|
|
|
If you must cancel,
please notify us as soon as possible (and thank you in advance for your courtesy) |
|
|
Weather
Cancellations: We will not cancel a day of
fishing trip solely because of rain. However, if a
guide or captain cancels a trip due to rough and/or dangerous weather conditions, we will
do our best to reschedule your trip. If your
day of fishing cannot be rescheduled, we will
refund one-half of the cost of the trip. Note:
this policy applies ONLY to single days of fishing, and does NOT apply
to package or multiple day fishing trips. |

Changes in scheduled dates of arrivals and departures may
involve additional costs such as extra transportation costs for late
arrivals to catch up with trip, or early departures to make scheduled
travel arrangements. However, these additional expenses will be
billed to clients at our cost.
|
|
|
No
refunds or credits will be given for unused goods or services (such as airfare or hotel
rooms). No refunds can be given for any reason once a trip has begun.
|
|
|
We
reserve the right to cancel any trip for any or no reason. Full refunds will be
given for any trip cancelled by us, less the retail value of airfare, hotels, ground
transportation and other goods and services prepaid by us and used by our clients.
|
|
|
We take
no responsibility for special arrangements or problems incurred by trip members physically
unable to participate in planned activities. It is the tour member's responsibility
to judge the appropriateness of trips to their physical capabilities.
|
|
|
Trip members may
be asked to sign a waiver of liability before the trip begins.
Remember, no one can guarantee your safety.
You will be participating in real environments, not regulated theme park environments. Therefore, we cannot control the
existence or behavior of the weather, water conditions, marine life or other people during
your trip, meaning trip members must acknowledge and be able to assume the possibility of
incurring these risks. |
