Mayan
Cultural Journey |
The Mayan Cultural Journey is a
full day at the Maya Centre Village hosted by Village residents.
Cultural Journey visitors meet and interact with
their Mayan hosts in a variety of settings and participate in traditional activities such
as gathering medicinal jungle plants or jungle plants used in the Maya cuisine, learning a
Mayan craft and cooking a traditional Mayan dish.
Village hosts are Mayan men and woman who want to
share their ancient and modern culture with visitors. Each Cultural Journey includes
