The International Zoological Expeditions (IZE) Lodge caters to snorkelers, anglers and students in marine ecology, with its own marine research station and classroom facilities. 

IZE's very comfortable natural wood cabanas are sited right in the mangroves, with large open verandahs, lots of comfortable furniture, and a very good on-premises restaurant. 

IZE's focus on learning and casual comfort makes it a great spot for lots of rest and relaxation, in a beautiful environment, with great snorkeling right off the beach (and we think it makes a perfect base for a guided cayes angling expedition).
