Start with 4 nights of culture and adventure at Banana Bank Lodge, a real Belize jungle lodge, including a cultural tour of Mennonite and Creole villages (enjoy a home-cooked Creole lunch), tours of the Belize capital of Belmopan, the Xunantunich Mayan ruins and Green Hills Butterfly Farm, cave tubing, jungle horseback riding, a night-time jungle hike, and a boat tour of the Belize River.

Next stop, a beachfront apartment in Placencia Village where you and your family can get to know local residents, including their children, eat at local Belizean restaurants, enjoy a real Belizean snorkeling day at a private island, and a tour of the tiny Creole village of Monkey River, including a river tour and manatee sighting.

  • Banana Bank:  4 nights in a thatched jungle cabana, quad occupancy
  • Miramar Apartments (Placencia):  3 nights in a 2nd floor oceanfront beach apartment with full kitchen, two baths, large verandah, a/c, daily maid service, quad occupancy
• Transfers:
  • One-way ground transfer from Belize International to Banana Bank Lodge
  • One-way ground transfer from Banana Bank to the Dangriga airstrip
  • One-way air transfer from Dangriga to Placencia
  • One-way air transfer from Placencia to Belize International

  • Banana Bank:  all meals (breakfasts, lunches and dinners) beginning with dinner on the day of arrival through breakfast on the day of departure
